Meisner started building wings for the Curtiss Jenny Airmail project and eventually worked his way to later becoming a well-respected mechanical instructor and supervisor for United for over 40 years.

Naturally, Gary took interest in aviation at a young age, and at 17 earned his license. Through several aviation related jobs, he began helping put buyers and sellers together on airplanes he knew about, and in 1979 founded Meisner Aircraft. Today, Gary’s two sons Brad and Chris now represent the 3rd generation of aviation professionals in the Meisner family.
